Privacy you can verify
Extract for Fathom exports your own meeting content into a single ZIP on your computer. Transcripts, summaries, highlights, and action items are processed in your browser and are never sent to Relay Capital.

What the extension does
The extension connects directly to Fathom using the API key you provide. It fetches your transcripts, summaries, highlights, action items, and meeting details. It builds the export files and ZIP archive inside your browser.
What is stored
Your Fathom API key, license email, and license key are stored only in Chrome's extension storage on your device. The extension also stores a random browser-instance ID and your anonymous diagnostics preference.
What is sent
Fathom requests go only to https://api.fathom.ai to retrieve your own Fathom data.
Your license key, license email, and a browser ID are sent only to
https://extract.relaycapital.io to activate or verify your paid license.
If anonymous diagnostics are enabled, the extension also sends coarse operational events to
https://extract.relaycapital.io, such as extension opened, connection succeeded or failed,
export succeeded or failed, app version, and counts like exported meeting count.
Meeting content
Meeting transcripts, summaries, highlights, action items, and meeting details are processed entirely in your browser. This content is never transmitted to Relay Capital. Anonymous diagnostics never include Fathom API keys, license keys, license emails, search text, meeting titles, participants, meeting URLs, date filters, transcripts, summaries, highlights, or action items.
What the extension does not do
- It does not use third-party analytics.
- It does not use remote code.
- It does not sell your data.
- It does not share your data with third parties beyond Fathom requests and Extract license verification.
How we use information
Information obtained through the extension is used only to export your own Fathom meeting content into a ZIP file confirm your paid license, and understand anonymous reliability issues when diagnostics are enabled.
